James Thompson

 James is a Louisville native and alumnus of Jeffersontown High School. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Louisville with a degree in Theatre Arts in 2015 and toured children’s theatre professionally for two years. He has also trained and studied at the Accademia dell’Arte and the Civica Scuola di Teatro Paolo Grassi in Arezzo and Milan, Italy, respectively.

James did not enter the field of law until recently, but immediately discovered a new passion after starting as a receptionist for a law firm. He has been with Derby City Family Law since its inception and is grateful to be able to contribute to such meaningful work alongside his fantastic bosses and coworkers.

James spends his free time knitting, painting, singing, and performing in community plays and musicals around Louisville.
